The Lomas wedding dress rehearsal was designed to give brides/grooms a clear picture of what their destination could/will look like. You get to personally visit the resorts and wedding locations in Riviera Maya, Mexico with a set itinerary from Lomas. I have attached our personalized itinerary below so you can see what it looks like! It is a 3 night stay for 2 people at Generations Riviera Maya or El Dorado Casitas for a total of $699.... which to me was a no brainer...especially since you get a chance to take a mini vacation and have a clear vision for your wedding!
The second day there we got a chance to meet our personal wedding coordinator, Lisbeth, who was a breathe of fresh air! She was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and made me feel like my questions/concerns were normal. We did a tour around the Generations/El Dorado property to all of the venue options they have available. I have attached photos below to show all the options! (Of course the website has some as well) We decided on the Pool Bar at Generations for our Rehearsal Dinner, "Pier" for our Ceremony, and "Sky Deck" for our Reception.
On the third day, we took a shuttle to El Dorado Seaside Suites to visit more wedding venues and join a presentation that Lomas had prepared for us. The presentation helped us see our destination wedding vision come to life by getting a chance to view the décor options and signature accents, meet photographers, florists, and onsite wedding team, and sample chef inspired menus, signature drinks, wedding cakes, and wine pairings.
Even if you are unsure of destination wedding, I think this trip is a perfect low-cost opportunity to help with that decision. Trey and I already had a venue in mind, but the presentations, meeting the staff, and scoping out the venues made us feel that much more confident with our decision!
